About Swell Set

My name is Sam Hoynacki. I grew up in beautiful Carlsbad, California and have been surfing since high school. Even though I’ve been surfing for over half my life, I’m not very good. To me, surfing is a lifestyle. I frequently surf dawn patrol before work; I buy a lot of beat up boards, fix them and resell them; and I shape my own boards. As I dove deeper into the surfing world, my wife Kylee convinced me to share my experiences.

Swell Set is the adventure of Kylee and I as we experience what the surfing industry has to offer.
